Fishing at the fort

years ago DH used to bring his fishing pole and fish the evenings at the pond by the Meadows trading post. Does anyone know if this is still allowed? DH and DS would like to spend some evenings casting a pole while i do the sing along with the other kids. I know there are fishing excursions but they are not interested in these. Also if you rent a kayak are you allowed to fish in Bay Lake from it?? Thanks

Yes, you can still fish from the dock by the Meadow TP. You can not fish from any rentals. If he wants to catch fish tell him to bring hot dogs. We spent a ton of $ on bait only to be out fished by a kid with hot dogs.

What's a camping trip without hotdogs lol?? My husband actually caught a small alligator in that pond about 10 years ago!! What an adventure!!!
