Hello there. I have two really good friends who live in Fishers, IN. Both really love it and both are newer to the area in the past 2 or 3 years. I don't know off hand, the name of the communities, but I know they are in the Hamilton, I believe school district. I can find more out if you would like. Any certain price range? You can also PM if you want to. I am sure my two friends would be willing to help

I can walk to Fishers.

Pros - very good schools - Fishers only has one school district - Hamilton Southeastern. There are two high schools.
Family oriented, friendly people
Nice neighborhoods
Safe area

Cons - Class sizes are big because it is such a rapidly growing area.
I know two people who have been very disappointed with special education program, but that may not affect you.
Many neighborhoods look exactly alike.
Check for flooding areas. With all the rain right now, a lot of homes are flooded. Fishers used to be farm land.
Not much diversity - This is the one reason I stay in Indy. I actually once had someone ask me if I was afraid to send my kids to school so close to inner city.

There are different neighborhoods in Fishers, but I somewhat see it as one big community. The other suburbs on the north side of Indy are Noblesville, Zionsville, and Carmel. Avon and Brownsburg have good reputations, but they are more west.
