Fisher Price - Read with Me DVD

I saw a post on a leapster question - was wondering if anyone out there has purchased and played with the new Fisher Price Read with me DVD. I would like to hear some opinions? My DD is 5 and working on Phonics and begining reading. Would this be beneficial? I hate the idea of setting her in front of the TV but looking for something fun and educational.
