Hi I'm new to the Disney cruise I'm going in Aug this year what is fish extenders?

It's a gift exchange between you and several other cabins, usually around 12-15 cabins total. There are a few threads that get into great detail what they are. We didn't do one on our first cruise and I'm super happy with that decision. There is so much to do on your first cruise that FE's are just unneeded stress, but that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

We also chose not to do FE on our first cruise. It does take a bit of time to go around the ship delivering your gifts. There are so many thing to do and see the first time. But when we did do it on our second trip it was very exciting for the children to arrive at our cabin and see all the creative goodies people had thoughtfully gave us. 5 years later I still use many of the items.

We joined our first ever Fish Extender group for our last cruise, but it was our 4th. I think we could have done it for our 2nd or 3rd, but the first cruise is already pretty overwhelming. Participating in FE requires a lot of extra packing or shipping to the boat, which is a lot of coordination. But I love my Fish Extender!!!
