While on vacation, I decided what I was going to give as my FE gift. I amazed myself that I could be this creative! Now you all have to wait till May!

...and I need to make or buy a FE for my Fish. Think my Mom will make it? Who am I kidding?!?!?!?

I've also ordered or acquired everything I need to put together our little gifts. I think I'll go ahead and do that and then stuff them in a box until late April/early May.

Has anyone thought about the sheer volume of bringing this extra "stuff"? Do some people plan to ship it down ahead of time to themselves or something?

Cocowum, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I asked about the width on a Fish Extender thread and she said her FE was 8" and her hanger was 13".

I have a time consuminggift idea, so I was going to do one per couple for adults(you only need one per family) but realized I have no idea who is with who in the head count for adults. Anybody with kids- I tried to estimate and tally on a piece of paper but it ended up like the episode of Curious George where he's counting stars. So...if anybody has more than one family in their room, please let me know so that I can see if my crazy idea is do-able or not. I only have four months. And no, I am not building each of you your own life raft.

I am going to take a leap here and assume (yes, I know ) that someone, Gibson(?) will be providing us all with a downloadable list of who is participating , cabin #s, # of adults, and kids with their ages. Assuming that is the case (yes, once again, I know), I was wondering if it would be possible to know who all is on their first cruise to include the kids. For example, it is not Corey's and Julie's first crusie, but it is Ferris's first.

I think the potential for neat "first cruise" gifts is unlimited and would make for a nice keepsake for the recipients. Anyway, just a thought...

There are two families in my room. He is a resident of British Columbia. I live in Metro Detroit!

Well, if I remember correctly, there is an assortment of duckies...the more people get the more of a complete set they will end up with.
