OK, I took the plunge. I won (is that the right word since I have to pay) a Brother Embroidery Machine on Ebay. It does Disney embroidery. I can also buy more pattern cards. The patterns that it comes with are of the Fab 4 (I think, the picture was hard to make out the details) There is a really cute one with Mickey and Minnie. And friend has a Figment pattern.

I'm am a true geek.

If you can invest some more money the Amazing Box is great for embroidery machines you still have to buy the cards but you can store them all on one hard drive. Also you can format the embroidery on the computer and print out a sheet of paper to see if you like the size of the image

My MIL has the Brother Disney machine. I'm trying to get her to show me how to use it so I can get to work on all kinds of cool stuff.

I'm a geek too Kim! I started out wanting to do some monogramming and Disney embroidery, Rick said why stop there?.........That's how we ended up with the industrial embroidery machine! Talk about overkill!



Then to top it off we got the software to digitize images on the computer.....yeah, I'm still learning to use that one.

(PS-Check out Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc- alot of times they run the cartridges 2 for 1 or you can use the 40-50% coupons they have for them. Otherwise the Disney ones run $90ish each!)

I got my mom one of those embroidery machines for Christmas...only she doesn't know it yet! I also got hers off of eBay. I'm selfish...lol...I want her to embroider stuff for me for the cruise...

I'll probably spring for the PED Basic or The Amazing/Ultimate Box too.

I can't use the additional box thingee. I am a Mac person and that doesn't work on Macs. Some companies are so behind the times.
