Is there possibly going to be fish & chips overload at Universal after The Leaky Cauldron opens?

I was planning to try Finnigan's this year before Halloween Horror Nights and have been reviewing the menu. I also have been seeking all Diagon Alley info & noticed that most everything listed as available at The Leaky Cauldron are also at Finnigan's.....fish & chips, shepherd's pie, scotch eggs.

The Three Broomsticks in hogsmeade also serves Fish & chips.

Is it just me, or it that too much overlapping of the same food?

I think they just want to have traditional British fare at both. Maybe they'll change Finnegan's down the road.

Or maybe not. :flower3:

When we lived in Orlando I had a couple of friends from Ireland and Scotland respectively, they are the ones that got me turned on to Finnegan's. We love that place better than either of the British/Irish places at Disney and even better than Fiddler's Green in Winter Park - although that's a really close second.

I've only eaten at Finnegan's once and it was just to have a hot chocolate and some cheesecake on a cold day. The cheesecake was old, old, old and tasted like an old refrigerator and we've never gone back. I guess it might be time to try it again.

Finnegans was good on the couple of occasions I ate there. Plan to visit again in July. :)

you never heard of the three strikes and you are out plan?

try finnegans two more times then make the decision.

scotch eggs are sooo good there, much better at finnegans than other places.

damo, if you do order something there and it isn't up to your expectations, send it back and order another dish.

and to keep on topic with the question, no, don't believe there will be an overload of fish at the park restaurants.

not everyone that goes to the darkside is there for parry hotter.
keep the fish on the menus at the other places...

i always hit that place.
i stay onsite for quite a few days.
for 12 park days, i hit that place 4 times last year.

I will be eating there next weekend. We always hit there and Mythos are a must.

No!!!!!!!! I love British/Irish food and Finnegan's is the only full service dining option for that type of food in the park. I love to have at least 1 if not 2 full service meals when at the parks.

I was hoping that The Leakey Cauldron would be full service but it seems like an almost exact copy of 3 Broomsticks. ;(

I think that full service limits the number of customers. Keeping it counter service lets more people enjoy it.
