Firsttimers - Any veterans joing us 1/19/03 land and sea cruise?

Hello friends,

We are new to the WDW family and was wondering if there is anyone else out there joining us on the 1/19/03 land and sea vacation? I have 2 sons (9 & 5).

(sorry, I don't know all of the cool abreviations yet)
Also does anyone know how to add the countdown to vacation clock?

I cruised last year - what questions can I answer for you. This year we're doing back to back cruises our first cruise is the one you're on. I'm cruising w/ my father, sister, niece (age 5) and nephew (age 7). We have 2 category 7 rooms.
Where are you from and are you going to WDW before the cruise?

Hi Bari,

Its great to meet you. We are from Hoffman Estates, Illinois (30 miles west of Chicago).

We will be at CBR for 4 days and then will transfer on the 19th to a catagory 10 on the cruise. No one in my family has been to WDW so I have doing a lot of reading to get tips. I can't believe what is out there. Disney is really a "World" of its own.

Sounds like your sister's kids are about the same ages as my boys. Maybe we can introduce them.

Were you on a January cruise last year? I am hoping we will have pleasant weather. Do you think this cruise will be fully booked. I am hoping to get a good deal on an upgrade before we sail. How busy do you think the Resorts will be?

I don't want to do a ton of character meals especially if the characters will be out and about that time of year. If you were only doing 2 meals which would you choose?

My DH and I defintely want to surprise the DSs with a Dolphin Swim in Nassau. Have you done that before?
