First Year Ignite Stroller ?

For anyone who has one...can a 5 or 6 yr old weighing 35-45lbs fit? Neither are very tall (maybe 41 inches or so) but only want to get one if it is worth it. We are actually looking for the lightest weight stroller possible other than a Maclaren Volo. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Yes. DS6 used his for a couple of years, most recently this past March. At that time, he was 40 lbs and about 46 inches tall and he fit fine. I'll look and see if I have any pictures of him in it.

Here is a picture of DS in the stroller:



He's all legs so he did have to keep his feet on the footrest, but he really fit fine in the stroller. I think the weight limit is 50 lbs.

I also have an Ignite for my almost 5 yr old DD. It has been on several trips to Disney and I have been very happy with it!

We just used ours last week. DS is 44" and 44 lbs, and he fit, but he had to always keep his feet on the footrest. If he was tired, he'd let them hang off and his foot got caught under the stroller once or twice. It hurt, but he didn't actually get injured. I will probably rent a bigger stroller for our next trip. He did much better earlier this year, when he was about 41-42" tall, like your kid. We got a great deal on it and he loves it, so I definitely recommend it.

My 3 year old is 35 lbs and 43" tall, and he fits. He has to keep his feet up or they drag, but otherwise it's fine. Actually, my peanut 49 lb 8 year old will also sit in it to rest, but I refuse to push him around.

We love the ignite stroller ... Used for several years know and still looks brand new
DS is comfortable in it still and he's a big boy
