First year for Free Dining in December?

Is this the first year that Free Dining has been opened to the general public during the months of November and December. I know that I personally have gotten about five or so pin codes this year and did'nt have any plans of going this year, but went ahead and booked a short trip for the Christmas timeframe. Just wondering.

Thats what I was thinking, for the general public anyways. They may or may not offer it next year for the general public during the end of the year. Maybe Visa card holders. If the economy was to improve any at all I doubt they will, this is one reason we went ahead and booked for this year.
