First week over.

Been here a week now and its gone in so fast. Been many highlights and a small hic up at the beginning but it hasnt spoilt our holiday so far. Roll on the next 9 days of fun.

Enjoy your last few days. I think each trip goes in quicker and quicker. We've been four times now and we still run out of time to do all the things we want to do. Then you start to talk about next time.

Lucky you! I costed out for next year but DH said no! Have done the sensible thing and just booked for 2 weeks in Lazarote next summer. 2015 seems a long way off.

Yeah we are the same it's way more next year for what we paid this year. Not sure we will be back until 2015 after this Octobers trip.

Weathers been great, but crowds at times are horrendous, some rides had 2hrs wait, needless to say we didnt wait on these and went another day for early hours to go on these.

Also finding price of things dearer than last year.

The exchange rate definitely makes things a lot dearer. I think all I bought for myself this year was a t-shirt. Which rides had a 2 hour wait?

Universal ad several mainly despicable me, and new transformers,even fast pass was 40min wait. MK splash mountain was 90min, space mountain the same. Toy Story was 90min wait as well.

In July we always passed those queues using fastpass. At MK DH went straight to get FP for Space Mountain. Usually then got Splash Mountain and then Big Thunder Mountain. At HS went straight for FP at TSM. Kept DH fit getting in the fastpasses. I would never wait 90 mins but lots of people were.

I really like the coasters and rides at Universal and IOA but their system stinks for those who haven't got express passes. We went in 2011 and got some things done early morning but then it became unbearable. In 2008 we stayed onsite for a couple of nights and had the express passes. I have costed up adding on express passes to tickets but it's a huge expense for only a couple of days. This time we gave it a miss.

At least the weather has improved. Orlando in July is a bit of an extreme sport. You need time to recover when you get home. I would love to go at a quieter timebut am tied to school holidays. Hope your flight home goes well.

We were at Epcot yesterday and Soarin had 150min queue and test track had 120min queue!

Stayed at OKW, HRH and BWV. Now the planning begins for next year.
