First week or last week in April 2014?

DH and I are HOPING we can finally re-schedule the trip we had to put off this year for either the first week or the last week of April next year. It would be DH, me, and DS (26 months in April).

Any suggestions on which might be a better time with a toddler? They both seem to be fairly ok on the crowd calendars. This will be first time taking DS.

the first week!!! the last week of april would be close to May which is love bug month. swarms and swarms and swarms and more will come to florida for their semi annual infestation. we had a trip planned for mother's day and then i realized AHHH is that love bug time and the consensus was yes but it can also fluctuate with it's timing, so steer clear of the end of April. Easter week will be busy as well but that is mid month. The first week is your best bet. Good luck! look up some videos or pics of the bugs it was unreal. they say the drivers get clogged radiators and it makes driving dangerous to drive through the swarms. ick ick ick! we experienced them in September.. they come spring and fall for a few weeks. horror film fit the experience.

I would say the last week! The first week is prime spring break time and will be much more crowded than the last week!

We go the last week of April (that's our school vacation week) and have never seen love bugs there that week.

We've been during love bug season. I'd rather deal with the bugs than big crowds!

Depends on when Easter is. Go whichever week is farthest away from Easter.

The first week of April will be less crowded. Last week is Easter, Spring Break, Cheerleading & Dance Worlds crowds.
