Sat- Hollywood Brown Derby lunch(Fantasmic Dinner package), very good meal! I don usually eat steak at 1 in the afternoon but it was really good and tender. you could cut it with a butter knife! For dessert we had a dessert trio all were good!
Sun- Skippers canteen lunch, it was pretty good. really fun and themed really well. I had the lot of steak salad thinking it would be lighter. it was huge but really good!!
Sun- CRT dinner, my wife's most anticipated meal. it was a good meal not great, really paying for the atmosphere. I had pork tenderloin and strawberry cheesecake for dessert which was good! Enjoyed the meal simply because of where we were and the food was fine.
Mon- Grand Floridian cafe breakfast, I had the french toast...yummy!!! it was very good wish we ate here more than once!
Mon- Yachtsmen Steak house dinner, best meal of the trip for me. I had the prime cut rib eye and it was delicious. For dessert I had the gelato trio which was also very good. My wife had the 21 day aged ny strip and didnt enjoy it as much but i think she is just a rib eye gal.
Tues- Yak Yeti lunch, a very good meal, we really liked the theming and the food was also very good. I had the Korean beef and really enjoyed it, a lot of good flavors! for dessert I had the cheesecake here also. it was a big piece, very good!
Tues- Morimoto dinner, this one was very strange for me. I really wanted to like it here it was just such a strange experience of extremes. I love Peking duck and we got it, it was very good so we enjoyed the food. It was just a strange vibe. We sat next to the wait station so it was very busy and kind of uncomfortable. The pace of the restaurant and the service made us feel rushed at the same time the waiter seemed indifferent and inattentive. the dessert they said we each should get one even though they were listed for two. not sure why the duck we had to share but the dessert we each got our own. I got the sundae thing and it was huge and easily could have served 3 or 4 people. I didn't care much for it but that was really more a reflection of my taste for boring deserts as my wife calls it. I guess maybe the restaurnt just wasn't our style, we wouldn't go back I dont think.
Wed- Jiko dinner, i cant give a fair review here. Hurricane Matthew was due to arrive the next day and we were trying to figure out our plans. I had the filet and it was good I just dont remember much and was really preoccupied as we made plans. I was bummed because I was really looking forward to this meal.
Thurs- 1900 Park Faire breakfast, buffet breakfast food and it was fine/good. Like CRT your paying to meet the characters. it turned out to be our last meal at Disney so we enjoyed the character interaction .
Because we had to leave early we missed out on Narcoosee dinner and boma breakfast
guess we will just need to go back.
