First week of June 2016?

We seem to be pretty limited on vacation since my DD is starting kindergarten this year. I wish we could go in mid May but I'm not sure her school would allow her to miss the last week. And then school starts back for her in early August.

So that leaves late May, probably over memorial day again or early June as the most ideal times I think?

Is one slightly better than the other?

Last year we drove down on Memorial day and left on June 4th. I thought it was perfect. The crowds were very manageable and the weather was great.

I'd avoid Memorial Day, personally. We just got back from a two-week trip and didn't think June was as bad, crowd-wise, and we expected.

Our preferred vacation time is the week starting with Memorial Day. Sometimes it's the last full week of May or the first week of June depending on where MD falls on the calendar. We have been to Epcot and HS on MD and it never felt really crowded at either park. HS in 2014 wasn't any busier than a summer weekend day. Epcot in 2013 was a little more crowded than usual, but not too bad. In 2012 we went during the second full week of June and it felt more crowded than the times we went on MD week.
