First Week of February is the Time to Go

Anyone know when attraction closures/refurbishments are posted for the winter season? We are looking at the first week of Feb 2016, but I want Splash Mountain this time!

First week of Feb is a GREAT time to go. We used to go that week every year. Everything was walk on.

I had read a thread a couple of days ago and someone said the parade was at disney land this year since the sb is on west coast.

We were looking forward to CRT and the new LM ride. OH WELL! Guess Akershus & 7DMT will have to do! 2 weeks..

Just out of curiosity - do you pull your kids out of school for the week? Homeschooled?

We are always struggling with the choice of vacationing at a good time vs. keeping the kids in school!

We home school, so timing isn't an issue for us, but my feelings are if the kids are doing OK in school and not having any grade issues, pull them and enjoy the vacation...

The schools scream and moan about vacations during the school year because every day your kid isn't sitting in a desk chair, the school isn't getting tax dollars for them that day.

You have the final say in what's best for your family. If that means taking vacation in February... Take that vacation and make some memories!

We'll be there (for the first time) 2/6 (Friday) and 2/7 (Saturday). A short trip to at least get a good taste of WDW. We decided on these dates since it's not a holiday weekend and flights to TPA were dirt cheap.

We'll spend some time in the Tampa area on Sunday and Monday. We homeschool so time and flexibility is on our side- that's one of the many perks of homeschooling
