Looks great! Be sure to plan your relaxing time carefully. Sometimes, it can take a long time to get back and forth and you end up stressing yourself out more to get "relaxing time".
Especially if you are not needing "naps", I highly recommend taking an outside park break by visiting some of the beautiful MK resorts. Grand Floridian at holiday is breathtaking, as is Wilderness Lodge. Contemporary has fun decorations as well. Sometimes leaving the MK and popping to see some of these reports and having a drink or app. is really more relaxing that trying to bus all the way back to the resort and back. Transportation to those MK resorts are fun and relaxing as well. Monorail or boats which are experiences in themselves.

Thanks. That's a great idea, especially on the long Magic Kingdom day.

With early morning magic, you will have time for multiple rides on Pan and seven Dwarfs mine train. Perhaps you could change those FP+ reservations?

No hollywood studios day is a little confusing to me since you've never been to WDW before. Out of curiosity, how many days of tickets did you buy you might have 1 unused park didn't you don't know about.

I also agree with the amount of relaxing, with the weather nicer it's not sucking the life out of you and you may not want them or want to go all the way back to your resort. you may not want to leave MK that day so just be ready to play it by ear.

The OP will enter MK for Early Magic Hours (EMH) which is different than Early Magic Hours (EMM). It's probably best they keep their FPs.

I made them for the early afternoon in case we had already done them and decided to leave the park early. My thought was if we did an afternoon break we could change the fp's for something in the early evening.

I am hoping that we can do the whole day. However our party varies between the ages of 4 - 65 so we will have to wait and see. We have 4 day tickets with water park.

I would eat at Disney Springs instead of maya grill on day 4 soo many choices there.

That was my original plan, but we need to check into the resort before the free dining goes into effect. I thought it might be less stressful doing an early dinner at the resort and spending time at the very cool pool ( both girls are water babies)! I will say, this trip is a trial run for the WDW trip I will plan for my husband and daughter when she is taller (2-3 years). That one will definitely include Hollywood Studios and some signature dining!

It just felt like there was too much construction going on. The little ones decided that they would rather do a second MK day and water park day.

The best part of staying on site, it's really easy if part of the group needs to take a break and head back to the resort and meet up again later if they need it, but you just need to play that one by ear and be flexible that you may not want to all take a break (and there is days some of them may not want to have a park day).

construction wise, there really isn't much closed, but it's a much smaller park walking wise with about 16-17 acres being rebuild (much of that was previously backstage space). sounds good to me to skip since your planning another trip with a smaller subset of the family later.

You actually don't need to be checked in to use the meal plan. online check in activates it that day for you so you can enjoy the place until you get your txt message with room number. You can also have guest relations check or activate it for you if needed and there is a guest relations in disney springs very close to where disney buses drop you off. Just stop by guest relations as your roaming around springs and ask them if it's active and to activate it if not.

Also does this mean your letting disney move your bags? you may not see those bags until very late at night. I actually recommend to family and friends that are doing a split stay that 1 person from each room (if you have multiple) should check out of the first resort (actually go to the front desk and ask to be checked out, you can't check into the next place until your checked out of the first one). then taxi all the bags over and check into the next resort. If for some reason the rooms aren't ready use bag storage to hold your luggage (it's free and secure). You just don't know what might happen where you need to get to to your bags (weather, illness, springs was faster than you thought and you want to swim now). then you head to your rooms later, call bell services on the phone from the room and ask them to bring you the bags or stop at the luggage storage on the way to your room and get them yourself.

In my opinion there is too much hype about "too much construction". First of all, you've never been there before, so you aren't missing anything. Second of all, even if you had been there before, there isn't really that much closed.

There is some awesome stuff at Hollywood Studios. Toy Story Midway Mania, The Frozen Show, Fantastic, the new Jingle Bells Jingle Bam Show. Maybe invest in a hopper and go over one or 2 evenings?

Thanks so much. Those are the things I need to know. Now I have to see if I can get a good ADR in Disney Springs.

Double thank you. Was just able to get a reservation for 8 of us at Chef Art Smith's Homecoming. I think everyone is going to enjoy that!

Also consider Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace area near World of Disney. It's a Counter Service restaurant with your order delivered to your table and very good quality food.

If you don't have a Blaze Pizza in your hometown, Blaze is a fun experience. Each person in your party can have a made to order pizza for about $9 each.
