First trip

Tickets have been purhcased! We went with 2 day single park tickets.

Gina-Gina-Bo-Bina while I understand what you are saying re: hotel, hotels really aren't our thing. We much rather sleeping our own beds. Besides meals have be factored in when talking the cost of hotels. In our trailer we eat our own prepared food.

We are just over the moon with excitement!

4 more sleeps before we depart for Orlando (not that we are counting of course)

We expect to arrive in the campground by mid-day Christmas Eve. We'll be at IOA on Christmas day if all things work out.

We're back home after our whirlwind trip to Florida. Universal was but 2 days of the trip but BOY was it a BLAST!!!!!!!!

We hit IOA on Christmas day and despite the predictions of insane crowds it was not that bad at all. We rode everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, FJ twice, dragon challenge 6 times, hulk about 10 times, etc etc. Longest wait was for FJ, about an hour once. Overall a fantastic day. I'll post a full trip report for everyone to read.

We talked to the team members at the kennel and we knew Dec 26 would be insanely busy and knowing that the weather was going to be rainy and cool on the 27th we skipped US until then. What an amazingly good decision that was. The crowds were just fine on the 27th, and with the rain (allbeit maybe 20 minutes of it) we once again got on every single ride!!! Noteables were rip, ride, rocket 5 times, Simpsons twice, Jaws twice. All with minimal wait times.

Oh we were not staying on site either, we arrived each day around 9:00am, and we did not purchase the express pass.

We'll be back!!!!!!! We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the park!!! I will admit that on Christmas day we were shocked that IOA was quite dirty with trash all over, not what we had expected. For us IOA was much more fun than US and we wouldn't likely return to US.
