This is the first trip our kids will be considered Disney adults.

The 13YO would be happy with the offerings/quantity of kids meals. (Kills me to pay and adult buffet for him) The 10YO likes of offerings of a kids menu but needs a bigger size.

For non-buffet TS, are the kids menus still available to them? Can they be made bigger for the 10YO?

Thanks

At quick service restaurants, nobody polices the meals - you could eat a kid's meal, if you wanted. So sure, your 13 year old can still have those foods at that portion. But at table service restaurants, I don't think you can order directly off the kid's menu unless you are a Disney kid. (Someone will undoubtedly correct me if I'm wrong!) I know you can request a larger/adult-sized portion of the items on the kid's menu - but you'll pay extra for that, of course...

They can mostly order of the kids' menu, but if you're on DDP it can be a poor value, obviously. Some TS will make a full-size version of the kid meal. Some won't.

I wouldn't get DDP if you thought your kids would mostly use the child menu/you're not mostly doing buffets, where you're stuck paying adult rate anyway.

Thanks. I didn't realize I was posting in the DDP section. We would be paying out of pocket so that will work.
