Blizzard Beach Day! Tyreak has been talking about this park since he was 5 he saw the huge water slide in a travel magazine and has wanted to ride it ever since.
We got to BB at 11:00 and of course we had a very hard time finding chairs. Tyreak enjoyed
the area that has the pieces of ice and net thing. We did the Family Raft ride, floated around
the creek twice, and 2 other raft rides before the Thunder started. We got dress as fast as we could and headed out before the storm started.
OH, Tyreak took one look at the huge slide and said he'd rather watch than ride.
We left the park and went to the Beach Club bus stop, I wanted to try Beaches and Cream.
While we waited I counted 8 All Star buses before one came for us! Some of the people staying at the BC were not happy about that.
The Beach Club Resort is so elegant. While we were walking around Tyreak says "Mommy, this must be where the rich people stay."
Find Beaches N Cream, place our order and waited 30 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 fries
from the take out counter! This is a cute little restaurant. I was expected it be much larger but I like it as it is.
Back to the bus stop hop on a bus heading to Animal Kingdom and change there for a bus to
Sports. Had lunch the room, (burgers were still hot and boy were they good) lights out at 3:30 for a much need rest.
Left the room at 7:00 to go to Pleasure Island. Caought the 8:15 show at Comdey Warehouse . Tyreak laughed so hard! The show was excellent, and the comedy was "clean".
I was glad we were able to get into an early show. I've been told the early shows are better for kids. The later tend to have more adult content. Is this true?
We also did Adventure Club, what a hoot, 8 Traks, blah, Motions, good. We had dinner at Wolf Pucks Express, mac & cheese and soda. Walked around a bit more then headed for the bus stop. got in line at 11:00 and waited a half hour for a bus to come, longest wait of the trip.
Back to the room andright to bed.
I enjoyed PLeasure Island but the next time I'll take Tyreak to one of the kids clubs and while I do PI. This way I can do some of the latershowsat Comedy Warehouse and some the adult clubs. I really wanted to go to BET .
