My husband and I are going to DW next October or November and can't choose which resort to stay at.

It's just the two of us, we're 25 & 24 with no kids. I've been to DW before ('96 stayed offsite) and he's never been.

We want to stay at a deluxe resort but don't know which one to choose. We love going out at night and drinking/partying and are planning on staying 4 nights/5 days.

We are not renting a car and we are only going to MK, MGM and Epcot (maybe Animal Kingdom if we have time).

Any suggestions???

Definitely one of the Epcot resorts for you.
Either YC, BC or BWInn.

There is a lot to do at night and there are places to go and have a drink after the parks close, etc.

I agree with josieac 100%-- lots of places to party-- all within walking distance. No need to worry about getting a taxi to bring you "home" in the evening. Also it is a beautiful area, you will love it!!

Definitely one of the EPCOT resorts. Lots for you to do there at night.

Having just recently returned from a stay at the YC with my DH, I would highly reccomend staying there. It is a beautiful, newly renovated resort, and as others have said, the location is so convenient. Of the WDW resorts we have stayed at (WL, AKL, Poly, and ASMu), the YC is my by far my favorite :D !

Have fun planning your vacation-

I would do Yacht or Beach Club. We are trying BC next trip. We had a blast on our adults WDW trip before we had kids! I just wish Pleasure Island had been around in those days. Have a great trip!

Thanks for the help! We were thinking about the CR since we both love the decor but I've heard too many bad things about it. Looks like BWInn, YC or BC.

We love the CR - and would never want to discourage anyone from staying there!

That said, I agree with the above posters - you will want to stay at one of the Epcot resorts. Oct and Nov, MK closes early, and although we love the family friendly fun at the CR, I think you will want to spend time at Pleasure Island or the Boardwalk. The bus from CR to Downtown Disney was the worst of our trip - we rent a car (cheaper than towncar service or shuttle for our family of five), and we will only go to Downtown Disney in the car from now on!

At the Epcot resorts - you have easy access to the Boardwalk, as well as the later shows of Illuminations and the pubs, etc in the World Showcase - you will still have the bus ride to go to PI, but it shouldn't be nearly as long!

I vote for the Dolphin! Great location - right by Epcot and the Boardwalk! :) :)

I would say the YC. This is a great resort and you are just accross the way from the BW area with the night life entertainment. You might like the BWI but my husband and I did stay there in 1999 and did not like the "feel" of the resort. The one thing that bothered us more then we thought it would is the lack of a dinning establishment inside of the BW itself. You need to go out onto the boardwalk to eat. Not a big thing but we just did not care of that.

We have stayed at BC & CR. I love them both, but if you want some night life I would go with an EPCOT resort.

If you wanted to do an MK resort I would go with the Poly.

Another vote for an Epcot resort. All 3 mentioned are great they are all situated around a lake all within a 5 - 8 minute walk of each other and a 5 - 10 minute walk to Epcot, so it would just be up to you as far as thememing of each.

Beach Club, my favorite, has a beachy type theme with lighter colors of blue, seafoam green and peach and has a sandy beach right in front of it.

Yacht Club is connected to the Beach Club and has a nautical theme with darker colors.

Between these two resorts is an awesome 3 acre pool/mini-water park with a sand bottom.

Boardwalk is across the lake from BC/YC, it has as you can imagine, a boardwalk between the hotel and the water which has some night life activities on it.

I definitely think you would like the Boardwalk Inn. Not only will you be close to Epcot, you will also have easy access to all the festivities that go on @ the Boardwalk (i.e. Atlantic Dance Hall, ESPN Club) The Boarwalk will also give you and your husband a nice romantic get away. Buses to Downtown Disney should not be that bad as you will want to party down there also. Hope this helps!!! Enjoy your trip!!:)

We love the CR - (14 times over the years), and we've never had a problem with the buses to Downtown Disney - also we like easy monorail access to Epcot and MK.

Lots of good advice so far, my personal suggestion would be the BWI. But.... I think you should stay where you've always dreamed of staying for your first trip.

As a kid I stayed in the CR with my family and thought it was pretty cool but I always remembered the monorail ride thru the Poly and said "when I grow up that's where I want to stay". And I did on the first trip with my own family... it was pretty cool. My dream was to throw open the curtins and see the castle... well we did just that! Next trip we stayed at the BWI and now that is my fav for many reasons!

Stay where your heart desires!
