Saturday was another beautiful day. We stayed around camp and the Fort this morning and I went over to check out the comfort station. It had the longer range magic band readers like the one at the front gate, so the doors unlocked when you walked up, pretty nice!
This is the reader for the laundry room
Next was a trip down to the canal, there were lots of canoes out today and the campground was packed for the weekend.
After a busy trip to the canal sitting in the sun and not catching fish, some serious hammock time was needed
(I have found these shoes to be very popular among Disboarders!) Also admired the neighbors set up, a nice modified utility trailer and a tent. They had been at the Fort since the first week of January, they were really nice folks
We went over to Trails End for lunch and got a younger server who must of been ready for his break. A few days before we had lunch there and I had a mixed fruit and vegetable salad and an apple barbecued chicken sandwich. On Saturday these items and a grilled chicken dish were not on the menu, so I asked how often they changed the menu and he went off on a diatribe about the menu never changing and how my perception of the menu was wrong and how he could understand how I looked at the menu wrong, and how the menu was arranged to put the higher priced items where your eye would notice them first. I said "well I was just curious" and he went about his business, buy I thought it odd.
After lunch we rode over the Hess Station near the Magic Kingdom for fuel, the station near the Studios doesn't have diesel, but both have near outside world prices on snacks and drinks. We picked up a 12 pack of Cokes and a case of water for around $11.
Next over to the Studios, I stopped at this store to ask about road service, but no one was there, I did write down the number, just in case
and a picture of the hat deconstruction
After Toy Story Mania and touring the park for a while we headed back to camp for dinner and wonderful evening at the Fort.
