My Hubby Dude and I are heading down to SSR on Nov 28th for a week. We're staying in a one bedroom. In the kitchen is anything supplied at all? Like salt and pepper or dishwasher soap? The DVC site says you get a starter pack of laundry soap. How many loads does that do? I know we don't get housekeeping because this is more of a condo type thing so are there cleaning products in the room? I'm making my shopping list to send to Marge from WeGoShop and I want to make sure I have everything I need.

Thank you for your help. I'm so excited about my trip! I can't wait to go.

In the kitchen is a small (trial size) bottle of liquid dish soap, a small bottle of stove cleaner and a small box of dish washer soap. There are also sponges and paper towels. There is a small box of laudry detergent that does maybe 2 loads if you split it and they are smaller loads. Other than listed there are no other cleaning products.

If you fill up the washer, the single use box of Tide will only do one load. They don't provide pepper, salt and sugar. They used to have a salt and pepper shaker in the room, but no longer.

You'll get another box of laundry detergent (for 1 load) when you get the "full cleaning" --- but you have to be staying 8 nights for that (I didn't know if you were staying exactly 7 nights, or Sat to Sun). There's also a few packets of coffee for the coffee maker, sugar, sugar substitute, and powdered creamer. We've always found the liquid dish detergent and the dishwasher detergent to be plenty, but we're not really cooking.

Hope you have a FANTASTIC time!!!:yay:

We're staying Friday to Friday. Nov 28th to Dec 5th. Thank you all for your replies. Hopefully I'll remember to bring or order everything I need.

Actually, they will replace all your supplies every four days, not just on full cleaning day (you have to stay at least 8 nights to get a full cleaning). You usually only get one prefilled coffee filter every four days. The prefilled coffee filter pack will include a couple of sugars, sweeteners and creamers. They used to give you one decaf and one regular every four days, but they started giving only one a few years ago.

OKW usually provides a small box of Cascade, while the rest of the resorts provide a single use pouch of Cascade. And they all provide one small bottle of Palmolive. I've never seen any "stove cleaner" in all my trips to DVC resorts in the past 11 years. There usually is one packaged sponge. Two rolls of paper towels (one on the holder, one spare). One dishtowel. They will provide extra paper towels and toilet paper if you need more before your next service day.

I believe the are supplying all DVC with the small box of Cascade for the dishwasher. The last two trips (VWL and SSR) the box of dishwasher detergent has been the small box not the single use packets.

Yes, that's what we had at SSR this year. And we did have a small bottle of stove top cleaner too.

Thank you all for your help.

I'm so excited about going I can barely contain myself. I haven't been to WDW since I was a teenager (I'm 42) and Hubby Dude has only been there once for a work conference around 20 years ago.

I am looking forward to many years of WDW vacations now that we have DVC :yay:

Have a great time!! I pack with us single use salt and pepper, tide and cascade cubes. I use the cascade to run through the whirlpool tub so I know it is clean before we get in it. I also pack with us the Mr.Clean cloths in a ziplock bag, then I don't have to worry about spillage in our suitcase!!
Enjoy-we'll be there on Dec 30!! Can't wait:yay:

I pack some laundry detergent "pellets" in my suitcase when we go. They are light, easy to pack, and you just pop one in for each load.

Just be sure not to get them wet!!! Unless you like big messes!! ;)
