Hello everyone! I am currently starting to plan my honeymoon to Disneyworld for December 11-17! This will be mine and my fiance's first trip, so here is the first of what Im sure will be many questions. We have decided to do the Disney deluxe dining plan and I have already planned out all the places we want to eat. The day we are in Magic Kingdom I want to have dinner at California Grill, but I want to see the parade and fireworks in the park. In December the fireworks are at 8, could we make reservations for California Grill at 9? Do they take reservations that late and would we have time to get there? I don't want to do reservations before, because we are also doing a sit down dinner for lunch and dont want to cut out that much park time. Thank you in advance for your help!

Why not have dinner during the fireworks? I've never done it, but I hear the view from there is amazing. A lady I work with swears by it. :)

I never have gone there, but I had the online ADR page open, so I checked on California Grill. I put in 9:00 pm for a date in June and it offered 9:20 and says the hours are 5:30-10:00 pm. So you can make reservations for the 9 pm hour.

Welcome to the DIS boards. Hope you have a great visit.

HEY! You sound just like me!!! My bf and i are celebrating our 3 yr by going to WDW for the first time too, and also on the same dates! How are you holding up with how far out the date is? Its driven me nuts!

But a tip i have is to go get the book The Unofficial Guide to Walt disney world 2011. Its GREAT! Gives you a lot of great advice, answers and tips, and Touring plans on how to see the parks and get a lot of rides in :D

Have you been to florida before? If so any tips on beatin the heat? Im from CA and people have been scaring me about the Florida weather.

Hope you enjoy planning your trip out :D

I'm from Ca too! I heard Florida weather is nice in December it's in the 60's or 70's and not hot and humid! I've been having so much fun planning my fiancé thinks I'm crazy for obsessively planning this far in advance! I just ordered the book, thanks for recommending it! Have fun on your trip!

Hey guys! Dont worry about weather. December in Florida is perfect! You will have a great time!

And yes the Unofficial Guide to WDW is a must!

Between that book and this site (http://wdwent.com/) you should be great!

Enjoy!
