First trip on points - can't wait

18 days to go!! Staying at the Polynesian on points for a long weekend 5/18 to 5/22. This is sort of a spur of the moment trip, so exciting to be able to do these since buying DVC.

No comando, no stress! Just a rest and relax trip! Only one day at EPCOT to see the Flower and Garden Festival. Any suggestions on how to spend our free time?



Our first trip HOME is planned for November at BWV, this is just a WDW fix to hold us over until then!

If you aren't wasting a day on your passes, i would take this opportunity to still go to the MK. No commando, though. Just go and do your favorite things... What I would do is make a dinner PS at Cinderella's Royal Table and then find a great place on main street to park and wait for Spectro and then the fireworks.

The other thing I would do is swim. Enough said about that Is the new pool open yet?

You can also rent mickey sprites and run around bay lake. It's great, you feel like you are going places you're not supposed to be (but it's still okay).

Since you're in the monorail I would probably also take this opportunity to visit the other resorts and try out their restaurants. It was really cool when we stayed at the GF to just be able to take the monorail home after the california grill for dinner and souffle for dessert. It just doesn't get any better than that. You can try to set up your PS's so that you can view the fireworks from every resort around the lagoon.
