First trip home..What to expect??

As I sit here, it is only 12 days until our first trip "home" We are staying in our home resort, which is OKW. I am really excited!! (bet you couldn't tell!!)

Anyway, am just wondering if you can tell me what to expect, since I have no idea what it will be like. We are staying in a 1 bedroom, non-smoking has been the only request. I also am taking my Godmother and her husband as a surprise trip for them and they are staying in a studio, which I have requested to be close to our 1 bedroom. What do you think the chances are for that? I have no idea about room layout.

Is the main pool is closed? If so, are the other pools in close proximity to all the buildings? One question from my daughter, who sees this as most important ...is there any place on OKW property to get her hair wrapped??? Oh to be 7 again!!

Don't worry--you'll have a wonderful time.

All of the buildings have large balconies with a great view. I would recommend a water or golf course view if possible. The woods view is OK, but some of them back right up to a road.

The main pool is open (not scheduled to close until September.) There are also three other "leisure" pools on property. No room is very far from a pool.

If you want to visit the main pool / Hospitality House, don't have a car, and are too far away to walk, just take one of the park busses. There are 5 bus stops throughout the resort and all busses should stop right at the HH before they leave the resort.
