Okay, we're heading down to OKW the end of the month to check out our new digs. Booked a 1 bedroom. Any suggestions on room location to request? Or certain things to be sure to do/not do on our first trip. It's only 3 days and it's just DH and I--no kids. Given those circumstances, I suppose they could put us on cots in a broom closet and we'd be happy! :p But just the same, I'd love to hear your recommendations for a first trip home!

There are no bad rooms at OKW. The only thing you should request is smoking or non-smoking unless you have trouble walking up a small flight of stairs in which case you would want the lower floor. I never request a location of a room, I have made 14 trips down to OKW and each time my room is a pleasant surprise. We always rent a one bedroom or larger so we will have plenty of room. You are close to a pool and bus stop no matter where you are located. There are 4 pools and 5 bus stops. All the buses stop at HH before leaving OKW so if you wish you can take any bus to HH. I prefer to walk. I would take the boat ride down to DD if I were you. It is one of the most enjoyable attractions at WDW as far as I am concerned. Have a good time:bounce: :Pinkbounc

you views are woods, golf or water - that say you pick which you like - you also request to be near a bus stop or one of the pools.

some people like to be close to the bus stop other like to be far away - noise issues.

your choice.

Hi Cas,
We have stayed in bldg 18 (studio) and bldg 19 (two bedroom) and LOVED both locations. Both are close to the bus stop and pool out back.Hope this helps:wave:
