I decided to write a trip report since this was my dd's first trip to the world, and I thought it would help me when I start the scrapbook!

Cast:
Me, 33, mom, scrapbooker, business owner, Disney lover!

My mom, 60 something ;), retired, along for the ride!

My cousin, 32, mom to 2 girls (but leaving them at home with dad!), Disney lover!

My dd, 3 almost 4, first trip to the world!

This was kind of an off the cuff trip we planned. Dh and I went during free dining for our anniversary last year, and we loved it! Not crowded and no waits. We are going over Christmas 2010 (Dec. 27-Jan. 2). I know it's going to be crowded, and we are not going to experience everything normally. Dd is also in "princess mode," so I couldn't pass up another free dining trip!

We decided early on it was going to be a girls only trip. My cousin (who was just there in March), my mom, and us. I left my 20 month old home with dh.

Our trip was Sept. 11-17th, and we stayed at POP.

I'm uploading pics right now, and will be back after the kids go in for a nap with an update!

How fun - a girls only trip! Can't wait to read all about it & see your pics! Now heading over the dining review :surfweb:

Our plane departed Philly at 9:00 a.m., so we were up at 4:30 and pulling out of the driveway at 5:30 a.m. Of course, that nasty noreaster was just hitting us, so our entire drive to the airport was RAIN! I was so worried that our flight would be delayed, but alas, it was not! We at to Orlando around 11:30 and were at POP by 12:30 p.m. We had a bit of a wait for the Magical Express, and of course the POP line was the longest.

Here are some pics of dd on the plane:

I had requested a 50's building 3 room with a lake view prior to my arrival. But it was not meant to be. We were given room 8262 in the 90s building, which faced the pool, but we were 2nd from the end, so it wasn't loud at all. We actually ended up cutting across the parking lot to get to the buses and food court because it was much quicker.

We went to the room, relaxed for about an hour, hoping our luggage would arrive. But we were so anxious, we just wanted to get to the Magic Kingdom! My plan was, since this was a Halloween party night, to get to the MK to see the 3 o clock parade.
Someone is excited!

So we got to the MK, and did a few attractions that had no waits until it was time for the parade.
Philharmagic, Pooh, Tea Party, Small World, Pirates, Haunted Mansion

Dd was not fond of the POTC, and just cousin and I went on HM. It was great not having to stand in line.

Here are some pics from the parade:

We dawdled around Main Street for awhile and then headed over to the Poly for our dinner. You can read my dining report which is linked in my siggie.
