We're up at 5am (after getting in from MK at 12!!!).
The guys from Blue Water Balloons are picking us up at 6:15am.
Heather and Anthony are far too tired this morning to feel excited!! They've just done 3 busy parks and are shattered!!
But we drag them along!!
The whole morning was like nothing before experienced. We had to meet up with other ballooners to discuss good take off points. It was fascinating.
Then there was about 7 parties travelling off together to this huge field in the middle of nowhere!!
We all watched as the balloons were being inflated and it was a brilliant site. The baskets are small and only hold 5 so its brilliant for private flights.
It was very exciting, climbing into the basket and taking off, but I must admit, as we were ascending, I looked over the edge of the basked and my knees wobbled!!!
But we were up 2500 ft!! Floating along! Its completely breath-taking. And watching the other balloons floating along.
We had a champagne picnic breakfast afterwards, and we all got certificates and Mat and I received etched champagne glasses.
It was a brilliant morning. Wouldnt hesitate about recommended Don and his team at Blue Water Balloons.
Back to the hotel by about 12ish and we all crash out. We have a good sleep and I get some washing done.
Then off to WnW. We can easily walk to the park. Its about 4pm and the water park is just starting to empty out. Lovely for us. We get a good spot by the kids pool. Mat stays with Heather while me and Anthony head off!!
Im shocked to find that we have pay for the rubber tubes. Even more shocked (and embarrased) to find that I cant get into mine!!! Anthony floats off down the lazy river and Im still trying to get in!!!
A kind family had to help. They all held it tight so I could climb in. Then I couldnt get out!! I must have floated round 6 or 7 times!!
We did the Hydra Fighter which was great fun!!
We left at park closing at 6pm and had a wicked couple of hours!!
Easy/Lazy night in the hotel!!!
