Day One: Macarons, MORE driving and a ride around a Mountain!
I left us off, heading to Jolly Holiday Bakery to get a late breakfast/snack. I think I knew that we could find the macaroons here. (maybe). But regardless once we walked inside and the girls saw the macaroons, there was no decisions that needed to be made. We didn't even ask what the flavors were! We ordered a red and a pink mickey macaroon and a pomegranate Slushy to share.

This was Gwen's Pink Macaroon that matched her plush!

Gwen was super excitied to have her matching set. The Rose Gold Macaroon was filled with strawberry compote and lemon verbena buttercream.

And Morgan went with the red macaroon. The Red version was a raspberry rose cream with fresh raspberries.

And our Pomegranate Slushy. The slushy was very good. Although nothing especially different about it. Just a good disney slushy.
We all agreed that the red macaroon tasted the best! They were both great but the fresh raspberries put it over the top of the two.
We sat outside and ate our snacks and Andy finally arrived! Once I knew Andy had gone through the turnstile, I jumped on the app and made our first MaxPass fastness! I grabbed a Fast Pass for the Matterhorn, so we could all experience that together. We finished up our food and talked about what we wanted to do until our fast pass window. The girls REALLY wanted to show Andy Autopia. So, we headed that way.
But first I spotted something that I REALLY wanted to get.

Mickey Popcorn Bucket!
It's funny, we haven't gotten popcorn before in Disney. This was our first Disney popcorn! Ha. The girls loved this bucket and sadly, we ended up wearing some of the Mickey face off of the bucket.
With our bucket now purchased, we headed into Tomorrowland. The girls pointed out all of the sights as we walked that way.
We got in line, the line was longer than before but we decided to get in line anyway. (probably should have gone and done something new but we didn't).

We saw the
Disneyland Train pull into the station while we waited. Which I found interesting that there was a stop in Tomorrowland.

I did get a good shot of the Autopia Sign this time.

This time we had to snake into the "tower" area where they had some screen show some Autopia scenes.
We waited quiet a bit but we made it on the ride. And we got to ride on a different track, which is slightly different. So that was cool!

Andy went with Gwen this time. And they were off!

And I rode with Morgan!

Morgan loved driving the car herself, yet again.
Andy did agree that Autopia was way more fun. The monorail didn't go by while we were on the ride. Boo.
It was time for our first fast pass of the trip! Woo Hoo! So, we headed over to finally ride the mountain!!!

And it was a good thing that we had the fast pass! The line was wrapping around the mountain! Guesing that is pretty normal but still.
We had to wonder around to find the fast pass line but we found it. There was a little bit of a line but it wasn't too bad. And soon we were seeing these signs.
And then we were on our own sled!
Gwen had asked if there was a yeti and I said that I didn't know....

Probably should of had her sit not in the front... oops.
We all liked it, well... not Gwen... She did NOT like the yeti's. But we were all just kind of meh on it. It reminded me of DW's Space Mountain in the sense that is was kind of rough. But it was fun for sure!
After our ride, I went on the app again to see what I could get for our next fast pass. I believe I grabbed one for us to do Big ThunderMountain after lunch. And we headed to our next ride!
But I am going to leave it here, as I have a bunch of photos for the next ride!
Where will we go next? I was ready to leave Tomorrowland!
