Happy Saturday!! Or should I say, Happy VIP Day!! Needless to say, DD and I woke up with a bit more pep in our step. BTW - We had refrained from letting the younger two in on our good fortune from the day before, so they had no idea what was about to happen. This was DD's idea as she LOVES pranking on my DN. So, we do our bfast and shuttle to IOA, only this time, we stroll through CityWalk with our plumes in the air and in no hurry whatsoever. We get to IOA, claim our VIP express passes, and stroll in, heading straight to the HULK. BTW there were three(3) rides our VIP passes were ineligible for(FJ, HRRR and the Dino Flyer ride in Camp Jurassic are u kidding me??) So what a joy it was to see the look on my DNs face when he sees us whip out EXPRESS passes to show the attendant at the entrance to the HULK. His puzzled look was priceless. He even asked, Did you buy passes, Tio(uncle in Spanish)?? My DD finally broke down and explained the origin of these passes and that there would be no more lines to deal with all weekend!! We laughed endlessly.
So off we go, riding HULK over, and over, and over again. Spidey next. And so on, and so on. Honestly, I have no clue of how often we rode what and when. All I know is that we were waist deep in the BEST DAY OF OUR TRIP. We end up at Hogwarts, DD and DN hit single rider for FJ a couple times, we do Dueling Dragons(modified seats). Everything IOA had to offer is in our sights and were knocking them all out with repeated fury. As for eats on this day, as planned, I set up the kiddos with park meal plans, so as to save time by not having to leave the park. This worked out to a tee as well, b/c the food ended up being surprisingly good. Kiddos enjoyed the variety and the freedom to select from the menu at will. The desserts that accompanied each meal didnt hurt either, especially the chocolate chip cookies!!(inside joke). So we ended the day staying past our shuttle pickup time. No worries, our old friend, the I-Trolley(GREEN line) got us back to the hotel. We ended the night re-capping the wonderful day and planning out the next day. Too bad Mother Nature had plans of her own for Day 6.
