We've been to Disney many times but always packed our meals and/or used counter service. This time we'll be there for 9 days in August and we'll have the regular dining plan. We've done alot of research and came up with the following list:
Teppan Edo
Le Cellier
Chef de France
Boma
'Ohana
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Turf Club
The Wave
Mama Melrose (Fantasmic package)

We'd love to hear what you guys think!! Thank you :)

Overall it looks like a good list to me! A lot of what is on your list is also on ours ;) I keep hearing good things about The Wave as well, however with the kiddies we have to stick with more character meals at this point. We enjoy Ohana as well. I think I'm most excited to try Boma since we missed our ADR there during our last visit :(

That's a great list. :thumbsup2 I would have some back ups ready just in case you are having difficulty when booking your adrs.

Not sure if you have kids or not, but WCC is very loud. Just an fyi if you are going there as a couple, it would not be my first choice. ;)

Except for WCC, I think the rest of the list is fine. Since you are doing several resort restaurants, keep in mind the travel time it requires to get to/from these meals.

We've heard that WCC is a loud & crazy place, but that we should do it "at least once". We think the kids (14/10) will like it. As far as for travel, we gave it alot of thought & this is what we came up with. Boma after AK. Ohana & Turf Club on our "non-park" days. The Wave (by monorail) & WCC (by boat) on our MK days. Whatcha think??

I think your line-up looks really great.
Teppan Edo-read a lot of great reviews, but personally have no interest because I can go for that kind of food any time I want at home.
Le Cellier-always have a really good meal there. Love the fillet with mushroom risotto., and of course the cheese soup.
Chef's de France-really enjoyed this, but have only been once so far-gratin de macaroni was delicious as was the flatbread alsacienne
Boma-absolute must do. everything is wonderful
Ohana-really good, done several times
WCC-only done once for breakfast, and was fairly fun, but couldn't enjoy because I was sick that day. Have to try it again sometime.
Turf Club- sorry, but never tried it
the Wave-finally going to try it next week
Mama Melrose-haven't been yet, but if I could get it for Fantasmic package I would definitely go

You will get so many different opinions. One of the previous posters says Boma is a must do for them but for us it is a never again dinner!

I'm sure you will have a great time at all your choices! Enjoy. We love the dining plan. Of course I don't love getting no the scale when I get home! :lmao:

I think you made excellent choices. I loved Ohana for dinner, family style, the food just keeps coming and was really good. My kids were younger so they really enjoyed the entertainment there. They do limbo, cocout races, plus you can watch them cook on the open grill. :thumbsup2

We went to Les Celliers for dinner and the food was so good my mouth is watering. We all like the chocolate mousse for dessert.

Les Chefs de France another favorite, I also like their quick service Bouligessare? whatever.

I also enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. You'll have a great time and I hope you have all good dining experiences.

Now I just have to wait for my 180 day mark. Do I have to make the reservations in date order or can I jump around & do the ones that are harder to get first? :goodvibes Rose

You can make the ressies in any order you'd like. Getting the ones that are hard to get into first is wise. Just have a backup plan in case you don't get in.

This list looks great. I'd also recommend Crystal Palace for the Winnie the Pooh character meal. We've had great experiences there for both breakfast and dinner, and it's a fun atmosphere with all the characters wandering from table to table.

Not sure if you're planning on Le Cellier for lunch or dinner but I thought I'd mention that Le Cellier is now 2 TS credit per person for dinner, which could mess up your plans. You could try getting a late lunch though, so its only 1 TS credit per person. Not sure how much the menu varies there between lunch/dinner.

Thanks for all the great replies. We've done Chef Mickey and LOVED it but the only "character meal" we picked this time is Remy @ Le Chefs.

Nkereina....we are planning on only doing lunch at Le Cellier (1TS) and then "eating our way around the world" at night :)
