Pre First Timer trip report/agenda:
CAST: Me 35: Obsessively reading this board and allearsnet to the point of being cross-eyed. I began planning this trip Mid May when DS12 came to me and says mom can we not go to Dallas this year and save our money to go to WDW next year? I cant possibly say no to this. Only I surprised him with the trip this year instead of next. PS this is how excited I am: I am packed and did so 12 days before departure. Going to pack for my boys today so the last 2 days I am off before trip I can clean house for DMIL to house sit.
DH36: We will call him Stick in the mud or SITM for short. I totally expected him to say no way when I proposed the idea and much to my surprise he was all for it. He is a cheapskate and has no idea how much this trip is costing us. SHHHHH!!!! He is so cheap I went and bought him some shorts today and he says take them back they are too much had to convince him they were on sale.
DS15: Turning 16 10 days after we get back. We will call Him Too Cool J or TCJ for short. When I told him we were going he did not want to go and has said you should have done this when I was Younger Hello I am 35 and cant freaking wait to get there. He has a 1970 chevelle SS that he is getting fixed up and is chomping at the bit to drive this. Maybe he doesnt want to leave the GF but too bad!!!!
DS12: We will call Him Talks a Lot and must give KUDOS!!! To TAL cuz this was his idea. From the day I told him we were going this summer instead of next this is all he talked about for weeks. I kept hearing what his teachers and friends told him about their trips ect ect ect TAL has ADD (no he is not on drugs) and can be somewhat annoying when he is excited especially. He is my mommas boy and he and I are going to have a BALL!! He has even asked to get an autograph book for the characters. I thought for sure he would be too cool for that but no that is his brother.
Accommodations: POR I have requested building 14 and will need the trundle bed since TCJ refuses to sleep with TAL. I got the MYW 8 day premium park hopper tickets with the dining plan.
Our flight leaves the bigger side of Texas at the awful time of 5:45am. I am planning to get up at 3 quick shower wake the crew up by 3:15 and leave at 4:15. Have 2 hours in DFW Cinabon and Starbucks for breakfast. We arrive in Orlando at 12:35. May I add that Both DSs have never flown and DH only once and that was pre 9/11. I was telling my young cast of newbies to plan on wearing sandals on the plane so it would be easier to go through security and DH bout had a stoke what I am not taking my shoes off this should be interesting..
My TA brought my DME tags too me yesterday and I am finally at peace with my decision to not rent a car for the duration of our trip. I must do a little shopping at the airport cuz I am going to go to LUSH and the Harley shop and Ron Jons surf shop. Then off to the hotel to get checked in and stow our carry on bags check out the resort and hop the boat to DTD and start this trip off right with my video game junkies and go to Disney quest. I will head over to Once upon a toy to get my Pal Mickey I hope to catch dinner at CapN Jacks this night. Back to resort and get into bed early so we can be early risers for our entire vacation (this should be interesting). More too come cuz you know I have a Commando itinerary planned with PSs and UOG touring plans .

the next day we caught our flight and realized the person checking us in in the front was the SAME person checking the boarding passes in back!!
