We are planning a trip to DW after the kids get out of school in June. We will be staying at FW. We have the camping thing down pact (32 ft. travel trailer) but have never been to FW. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. We spent a day at Disney when the boys were 6 and 1; we now have ages 16, 11 and 6.

Thanks.

First off, welcome bserenpreiss! It's been some time since you've been to WDW, so I imagine it will be a bit different than you remember.

I don't know what exactly you are looking for, but I will say that just staying at FW is a vacation in itself!

Just some things that come to mind....

If the site they assign you turns out to be just a tad difficult to get into, don't hesitate to ask for a different site. We actually pulled out 33'tt into the site next to the one assigned then called from the comfort station. (Not always a good move.)

Trails End is the best meal for the $$ in all of WDW! (IMHO)

With the longer hours in June, take advantage of EMH, come back to the tt (especially w/ the 6yo), take a swim, eat a snack, then go back in the pm.

I'm sure others will have some other tips to share!! And have a wonerful time!! :sunny:

I agree with house_of_princesses!

How long are you staying at FW? Do you just plan to do Disney or do you plan to do things offsite as well?
