Hi all,
So we have been to WDW many times, but are considering DL next year. I am already starting my research, but am struggling a bit with when to go. Both my husband and I have limitations on when we can take time off(basically Oct-Jan/Feb are out). This will also be my son's first year of Middle School, so I don't know that I want to take him out of school for a week when he will most likely still be adjusting to the changes.

This pretty much leaves Spring break(04/08-04/12) and mid-June/all of July. August is the start of football conditioning so that's out as well.

Would any of those times mentioned(April/June/July) be better than the other?

If he was already a seasoned pro in middle school, I wouldn't be so hesitant to pull him(we just did in May this year, but as a 5th grader at the end of elementary school not as big of a deal)

Any input from DL experts would be appreciated!

April will be really busy with Spring Breaks. Mid-June to early July would be the best. You also have a lot of the Magic Keys blocked in that time. The keys are only blocked on the weekends in April.

I always recommend this site for first timers. Of course, please ask if you would like any recommendations.
