My husband and I will be chaperoning his school's senior class on a trip to Florid on the first week in April. We were last minute replacements for another couple who had to cancel. His school is very low income and the kids start saving for this trip in elementary school, the nice thing is there are only 13 senior high students in that class. This is a very small rural school in lower Michigan. I am looking for cost savings, first timer tips any kind of help would be appreciated. Neither my husband or myself have been to DW. The students trip is paid for but meals are not included.
We will be at DW two times during the week we are there....one time to Magic Kingdom, then the students need to select their second park.
Thanks to all who respond.

Are they going to the Grad Night celebration? Or is a regular school-sponsored Senior Trip?

I'm pretty sure that the Seniors at my school love DHS-- I've seen lots of pictures of them on Tower of Terror!

Try posting this on the Teen forum; I bet you get lots of great suggestions.

Also, you may have to sort through some stuff you don't need, but take a look here: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1715551

edited to add: Here's a HUGE list of things Disney offers but doesn't advertise: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1437421

Thank you so much! I looked through a lot of the threads and found some great tips to share with the kids. I'll make sure to post to the teen section as well.
My husband is the principal and also served in the marines and when I told him about the flag ceremony he got really excited. City hall will be a first stop for "1st timer buttons" and to see if they still do the flag ceremony.

I hope you all have a great time! The weather should be terrific. Most of the the state will be out for Spring Break in the first two weeks of April, so it'll probably be crowded. Try to get Fast Passes for rides so you can be sure to ride your favorites.:)
