Im bringing my sons 16 year old friend with us on this upcoming trip March 5-12. He's never been - which is why im paying for him, because his mom is a hard working single mom who takes care of him, his older sister and her child, and the grandmother so this is probably the only chance he'll get until he's an adult and can take himself one day.

Is there anything Disney does for first timers? Like a special pin or something?

Definitely, he can get a 1st Visit pin at check in or park entrance.
