We are not going until Sep, but was able to "try" to book FP's for a random day in April just so I could see how to do it. ( I already went and deleted them all! :) But it raised a few questions:

1) First off, I didn't realize I would be booking FP for only 3 people (not 4) as our youngest is under 3....interesting.

2) When I picked my 3 attractions, the system only gave me 4 different options of times for all 3 which I guess they thought might work with our schedule. I saw no way to change the times other than just grab one of the options (for all 3), then go in later and change the times...is this correct?

I really want to be sure of the correct way of doing this come July so I can make sure I get to meet Anna/ Elsa... so I just grab whatever times the systems come up with? Is there really no way to adjust the times until you've already finished with "booking" your 3 selections?

Thanks!

Sorry Question #3~!

I noticed the time frames were 1 hour time frames. I thought you had set times for FP's.... so you are just supposed to show up within the HOUR?!

Thanks!

1) That's always been the case with FP (reg and +.)

2) Once you make your original choices, you CAN go back and make individual
changes of attraction(s) and/or times(s.)

3) Sure. FP (reg and +) has always had a one-hour "Return Window."

4) Just do it that way. It can make for less problems.
The "system" is very clunky, un-user-friendly and non-intuitive.
Very sad situation for an operation like Disney!

Robo: I'm not sure how you are telling me to do it. So just grab whatever times the systems gives me you're saying and go change the times later? Thanks....

Yup.
You can do so immediately after making the original choices.

Thanks! And I agree...should be a much easier way to do it (i.e. grabbing the times you want from the get-go) :confused3
Also for A/E meet and greet, do you think I'll be okay saying I need it for 3 people since its an odd number? Should I try that first? and if it doesn't work, try 2 and 1 instead ( I know some people said they were having problems getting Anna and Elsa for more than 2 people....) Can't do all in 1's as we have a child under 7...

Robo: Sorry to be annoying, but really concerned most about Anna/ Elsa...if I grab whatever they give, should I go back and immediately try to change times, OR try to book all FP for every day (and every park) then go back and change all times?

Also for A/E meet and greet, do you think...

Doesn't matter what I think.

That situation is a ROYAL MESS!

Ya know, if they can't fix a danged MEET & GREET situation with a couple
of sweet-looking 20-somethings, Disney has FAILED in the guest relations arena.

FIX it!

AMEN!

If the mouse can multi-meet why not some gals from Arenelle ???

BUT- if hundreds of folks are tied up in line they won't be trying to ride 7DMT, right?

Just looking for some help here on booking FP in general as its our first trip...as I said, I went through and booked a "mock" day for April and was really surprised mostly that I couldn't even pick times until I was finished. Do you recommend changing times for FP attractions you really want right after booking them OR just booking all FP for every day...THEN changing times at the end for all?

Whatever you prefer (or GUESS to be more important.)

The DATES you are going will become more important (due to varying crowd-levels) and FP+ choices for the top attractions may become in very short supply as more and more guests are folded into the advance FP+ reservation system.

FP+ has only thus far revealed a small part of what dense complexities may lie in wait as it becomes more "available."
