Hi everyone! So I'm planning my first trip to Disney NEXT MONTH, WOOHOO!! Anyway, I wanted to run my itinerary by you veteran DIS-ers and see if you approve or have any suggestions or itinerary critiques? Thank you soo much!!
Some general info: My party is 2 young adults, and we're staying at Coronado Springs. We love character meals, as you will see from my meal reservations! We're avoiding all thrill rides, because I'm terrified of 'em. The "scariest" ride we're planning on is Test Track. So no waiting in lines for Tower of Terror, Splash Mountain, etc. for us!
FRIDAY, JUNE 16
--Scheduled to arrive at Orlando Airport at 6:10 PM.
--My birthday dinner at Fulton's Crab House in Downtown Disney, with shopping at World of Disney and Disney Tails before or after dinner.
SATURDAY, JUNE 17
--Arrive at Magic Kingdom 30 min before park opening.
--Lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table at 2:05 PM.
--Go back to the hotel after lunch for a swim and rest, and plan to be back at the park at 6:15 PM. If we're not tired and want to stay at the park, we'll spend the afternoon shopping, exploring the park and repeating our fave attractions.
--Dinner at 7 PM at Liberty Tree Tavern.
--After dinner, watch SpectroMagic from Liberty Square and then leave the park immediately after the parade.
SUNDAY, JUNE 18
--Arrive at Animal Kingdom 30 min before park opening.
--Lunch at Rainforest Cafe at 11:40 AM.
--In the afternoon, go back to the hotel for a swim and some rest and relaxation.
--Dinner and watch the Wishes fireworks at 9:10 PM at California Grill.
MONDAY, JUNE 19
--Arrive at Epcot 30 min before park opening.
--Lunch at Teppanyaki at noon.
--Dinner at Alfredo's at 6 PM.
--Watch IllumiNations from Italy.
(We don't have time for a midafternoon hotel break today, since the park is so huge and there's so much for us to see and do here. Is that going to be ok??)
TUESDAY, JUNE 20
--Arrive at MGM 30 min before park opening.
--Lunch at 50's Prime Time at noon.
--Go back to the hotel after lunch for a swim and rest, and plan to be back at the park at 5:30 PM. If we're not tired and want to stay at the park, we'll spend the afternoon shopping, exploring the park and repeating our fave rides.
--Dinner at 6:30 at Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic! package).
--Leave the park after Fantasmic!
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 21
--Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at 9 AM.
--Take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom and spend the morning and afternoon there. We don't need to leave the park until around 4:30, so we'll have a good chunk of time.
--Flight home at 7:20 PM.
What do you think?? I'd love your opinions and advice!! Thank you soo much!!
