Hi everyone,
We will be making our first trip home to VWL, in early December. Need advise on the best/cheapest way to buy tickets to get into the parks. Do I go with the Hopper tixs or should I go with the yearly pass??

I live in PA, and also wondered if it would be beneficial to go to Delaware to purchase tickets from a Disney Store there since there is no sales tax?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Because with DVC we tend to travel to WDW at least once (or more) times a year, we find the APs to be the most economical. If you plan only one trip down a year, plan them for just under 12 months apart so you get two trips on one pass.

For example...
August 20, 2002. Take a trip on first AP. Plan the next trip for August 10, 2003 and you get two trips in on one AP. Since we usually go for 7-12 days each trip, we will get from 14-30 days per pass. The break even point on an AP is about 8 days.

Everyone pays 6% FL Sales Tax no matter where you buy them.

How many days do you plan to visit parks in the year? If it's 8 or more at the 4 main parks, then an AP would save you money. If you are just going on the one trip to VWL and plan to go to water parks or Pleasure Island, the UMP with the 10% DVC discount may work for you.
