Hi everyone! I'm new to the DIS and was hoping some of you could help me out. This is my first time planning a Disney vacation by myself and I'm a bit confused. Me and three other adults are going to Disney May 27-June 2, 2011. We booked the free quick service dining plan, but I would like to upgrade to table service. I called Disney today and was told it would be an extra $600! :scared1: Is that correct? I understood it as only $10 extra per night, per person. So it comes out about $60 per person, or only an extra $240 total. Who's right here?

Here are the 2011 prices:
Quick service plan: $34.99/night/adult, $11.99/night/child

Regular dining plan, non-peak: $45.99/night/adult, $11.99/night/child
Regular dining plan, peak: $47.99/night/adult, $12.99/night/child

Deluxe dining plan: $78.99/night/adult, $21.99/night/child

So depending on when you are going (peak or non-peak time), the difference would be between $11.99 or $13.99 a day, per person.

Looks like you have 6 nights x 4 adults x $14 (high end) = $336.

I don't have any idea what they were quoting you, but that's what I get. Upgrading from CS to deluxe is over $1000, so I'm sure it wasn't that.

I just called back and I was quoted $15 extra per night, which sounds about right according to your prices. Thanks!
