My DH and I will be visiting WDW for the first time, but it's only a four night trip.

I was wondering what attractions and exibits are a MUST for us to see/do in Furture World at Epcot? What should we skip over this trip and save for when we have more time?

Thanks for any advice. :sunny:

Okay, this is just based on my opinion and my likes but here goes: And I am ranking these in order of what I would do the most and not do the most.

Must do:
Spaceship Earth, I love it, its very relaxing and it would be a shame to be at Epcot but missing riding in the famous geosphere landmark. There's also hardly ever a line and its the first thing you see when you walk in the park.

Soarin: Do not miss this, its incredible. Its inside the Land Pavillion and there is a boat ride as well as a movie. But if you only have time for one thing in "The Land" do Soarin above the others.

Test Track: Pretty cool ride, lines get long however so fastpass it (that goes double for Soarin).

The Living Seas: Lots of nice exhibits it also has Turtle Talk With Crush which is very cute and the new Nemo ride that is opening soon (or is already?).

Mission Space: If you have a tendancy to get motion sick go on the tamer version.

Okay to skip:
Journey into the Imagination. Its outdated and while I like Figment, on a short trip I wouldn't spend the time.

Universe of Energy: I actually really like this but its time consuming and again on a short trip might not be the best use of time.

Honey I Shrunk the Audience: Unless you are a huge fan of the Honey I Shrunk movies of the 80's skip it, its outdated and there are way better 3D shows at WDW (Tough to be a Bug at AK and esp. Mickey's Philharmagic at MK are so much better).

Innoventions: Totally outdated, little kids have fun but its really quite cheesey.

Again those are just the thing my family enjoys alot and not quite as much! Have a great first trip to WDW!

P.S. Have fun at Disneyland in a few days, I love Paradise Pier (stayed there twice)!

Depends on what you like. Must do's include Spaceship Earth. If you have a teen or a thrill-seeker, try Mission Space. If you have younger kids, do Turtle Talk with Crush and the new Nemo Ride. Soarin' is also great and should be booked in. This leaves Test Track and some other attractions as optional.

Have fun!

Steve

My MUST do's at FW are

1. Soarin' (LOVE this ride)

2. Turtle Talk (with or without kids! It is so cool!)

3. Test Track

4. Mouse Gears store...one of my favorite shops at WDW!

These are the 4 things I do at FW no matter what!

Frankly, FW at Epcot is our favorite park! Soarin is by far the best ride in all of Disney World. There are tons of things to see and explore that are not just the "rides"--the exhibits after you exit both test track and Mission: Space are really interesting. Even without kids, turtle talk with Crush is great. Have a great time.

These are the 4 MUST RIDES:

1. Soarin (remember to sniff when you soar over the orange groves and river kayak trip) ;)

2. Test Track

3. Spaceship Earth

4. Mission Space (tame version if you get motion sick, harsh version if you like thrill rides - but try one or the other no matter what)

Those are the musts. If you have time after that, I'd suggest Living with the Land boat ride and Turtle Talk with Crush.

If you have only 1 day at Epcot, MAKE SURE you are out of future world by 1 pm (at the LATEST), so you can have all afternoon and evening to explore World Showcase and ALL it has to offer, including its live acts and pavilion movies (especially France, Canada and China - skip the Norway movie).

And be sure to catch Illuminations starting at 9pm.

Soarin, Soarin, Soarin. Test Track.

Then all the other stuff! :) As for what to skip? MGM and AK!! Epcot and MK are my favorite parks, so I'd spend two days at each of them and do the other parks on a future trip, but that's just me!

If your into thrill rides: soarin, test track, mission space
If your not: living with the land, universe of energy, spaceship earth
If you have kids: living seas, journey into imagination
