I have visiting WDW a few times, and am looking to now visit DL. :cool1:

Financially and logistically the time frame to visit will be Sept, Oct, Nov. We have no restrictions on when in that time frame we go. Because this is our first time, I would like to see as much as possible (ie when not much is closed for refurb, etc). So if anyone can guide me as to when in those 3 months that would be, I would really appreciate it.

We are not fans of big crowds (who is?? LOL) so we would like to avoid those as well. I have read about the AP factor (and the huge crowds last Oct) so I'm guessing that would mean no weekends, but I will wait for any advice.

I have read thru much of Hydroguys extensive threads, and found them very informative. Its great information for a newbie!

Thanks for all your help!

The best time ive ever been, as far as crowd levels was november 2-6...it was right after halloween and we still got some of the halloween overlay and some of the christmas, even snow on the castle. It was the slowest ive ever seen for DL!
This year were going the second week in march and hoping for low crowd levels again! crossing my fingers!

One year we went in March and the parks were over run by cheerleaders and there were horrible crowds and then another year we went in March and the crowds were not that bad. March is an iffy month because of spring breaks in other states.

If you read all the links in my AP thread it indicates based on 2009 that the Friday-Sunday after Thanksgiving would be the best bet to have most things operating and moderate crowds.

I was once told by a friend that the best time she ever had was in early October, but, I can tell you that we went in the first week of December one year and it was fantastic as far as crowds.
