Hi
I am so glad i found your site i have been lurking for days!:yay:

I am sorry i know there is another similar question to what i am going to ask but we have just booked a trip for 21st March for 5 nights staying at the cheyenne, (is that a good thing??):confused3 ! Me my hubby and 3 children who will be 8, 6 and 6 months at the time of travel and the previous question was regarding taking a cold water steriliser i only have a electric one and was wondering if i could use this? I know i will need a travel adaptor but has anyone else done this?
Also a lot of you have said about bottled water for making up the bottles i had not even thought of this is there any reason why the water from the tap kettle is not any good? And also should i request a kettle now or should they have plenty sorry for all the questions but i have got so many things i would love to ask??
Thanks in advance
Jin

We have used various electrical appliances with a travel adapter so I'm sure you will be fine :)
I'm sure you'll be fine asking for kettle when you get to reception.

Hi
Thank you for your quick reply i didn't think anyone else would be here at this time?
Do you also know at the cheyenne do we need to take our own bedding /towels?

Thanks again
Jinx

Hi Jin

The Cheyenne provide all bedding and towels, although I'm not sure about cot bedding if you're requesting a cot. I would imagine that they would provide this as well, someone else may be able to confirm this for you, but you might be best taking a couple of your baby's blankets anyway.

Yes the cot was provided with sheet and blanket, but we were glad we brought DD's own just for the comfort :)

Hi Jindy2boys1girl
I think the water question is just a case of being safe rather than sorry - we've always drunk the water, but last time we were there our group did all contract a tummy bug, nothing major , thank goodness -just a 24 hour thing, when I got home I found from another forum that other groups had been ill too. It made me think back to a couple of years ago when we went to a holiday camp here in the UK and were severly ill, as were a lot of other holidaymakers, (it made the national news) when I was speaking to one of the R*dcoats about it he said to me "You're not drinking the water are you ? - the staff never drink the water onsite":scared1:

The Cheyenne is a superb hotel and a favourite of a lot DLP Disers, it's hard to explain what it's like, but you feel like you're walking right through the set of a Western film, your 8 and 6 year olds are going to love it, my 2 boys were about that age when we stayed there and they thought it was great.
I'm sure you'll have a lovely time.:goodvibes

We have always drunk the water at DLRP too but one of my DDs was ill last summer (also 24 hour bug) then I read on here that the French don't drink their tap water  we will be sticking to bottled next time too!!

Any more questions, just ask away ~ we are only too happy to help. :goodvibes

Hi
Many Thanks for all the lovely replies:)

After reading the comments on the water and sickness bugs i will def be taking the advice on the bottled water I'm so glad i found this site i would not have given it a thought it just goes to show what you take for granted here in the Uk.

Thanks again
Jinx
