I'm on an all or nothing waitlist for early december. Is the waitlist reliable or should I call once in a while to see if any have opened up? Today, 4 of my 6 days were available in an HH unit, but I don't want to get stuck having to change rooms so I decided to waitlist the whole thing. P.S. I already have an OKW reservation but not in the HH booking category.

Still have not grasped why HH catagory is so desirable. We have been owners @ OKW since 96 and stay at least once a year an find the South Pointe area much quiter and relaxing, you can hop on "ANY" Disney bus and get to HH in a matter of minutes since HH is always the last stop. In reverse walk across the bridge from HH to Penninsular Road bus stop and hop on any bus to your area.

Primarily because my wife will be arriving after midnight via ME with a 5 month old and it would sure be nice if she didn't have to wait for a resort bus to get to the room. I'm also going to have 8 and 4 year old boys and can envision many quick trips to the pool during the day and night if we were close.

While that's true, I always think it is many times easier to watch the kids that age at some of the smaller pools. All 4 pools at OKW have play areas, hot tubs, and a pool. The biggest difference is the slide at the main pool, and larger sand area for the youngest ones. The main pool is also MUCH more crowded though too, and that makes it harder to keep track of 3 youngsters.
