This will be our first time using DP Questions!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a few questions we have been to Disney a few times but this will be our first time using the Disney Dining Plan.We will arrive Sunday May 10 and check out Saturday May 17.There is 6 of us in all 2 adults 4 children Childrens ages are 11,9,7,and 4.It is really confusing.I am guessing I will have 7 credits for Table 7 for Counter and 7 snack per person per day right??? I have until midnight of the 17th to use them all right??? We never get park tickets the last day because it just so busy checking out and all.So I am going to use 1 ts,1cs,1snack per person per day so we wont have any left...Here is what we have so far..

May 10-arrive day Hollywood Studios
CS either All Star Music foodcourt or somewhere in HS
Snack-wherever
TS-Sci Fi Dine In dinner

CS-most likely Flame Tree BBQ

TS-breakfast at Donalds Tusker House

May-12 Blizzard Beach during the day

Lunch-CS Earl of Sandwich
Dinner-TS Planet Hollywood

May 13-Epcot

snack wherever

May 17 check out and leave

I need ideas for CS May 15 and 16...

How does this sound???? We are so excited wasnt sure if we would be able to go at all this year....

Before readin any further, I wanted to let you know the credits are according to how many nights you spend, so you will have 6 per person, not 7

I'm not sure that ESPN is either? It's not on the list I have, but it isn't an updated list either.

Oh and one other thing, I live north of Swanton, not far from you. My sister has a Maumee address. ;)

lol its a small world thats cool I have been to Swanton many times.....I use to camp at Sunnys which is in Waseon(sp??) lol

ESPN and Planet Hollywood have traditionally been on the DP. Yes you do indeed have 7TS credits per person.

The water parks have CS places that take the DP. I'd plan CS for those places.

On the MK day with CP breakfast you will likely need a more robust second meal than a hotdog. Either eat elsewhere or plan to share Casey's and another CS elsewhere in the park.

On arrival day I'd eat at the resort. It will be quick, wide selection and then you can simply enjoy the park when you arrive. You may even want to consider a swim as well then head to the park.

I would have a CS breakfast at the resort then head to AK. Use a snack credit at AK then be ready for a great dinner at LeCellier.

On the Epcot day I'd book a TS in Epcot. Coral Reef would be great for your group. Consider it for lunch. It will give you a break in the park so you can go longer w/o having to leave. This bumps ESPN Club, so consider whether that one or Planet Hollywood are more important for you as you'll need to pick just one of those two. Keep in mind you do have a $15 Planet Hollywood voucher in your package, so if someone just wants to experience the place perhaps a couple of you can go for dessert or an appetizer using the voucher and some cash.

Keep in mind CS can be shared so you may be able to get 3 meals per day via sharing. CS breakfasts come with 2 beverages and there are platters that are easy to share.

OK, I think you have a typo on your first post. You say you are checking out SATURDAY the 17, but that really must be Sunday? If the 17 is Sunday then you do have 7 credits.
The list I had did not have eiterh place on the dining plan, but I did look at the WDW one and did see ESPN, didn't check for Planet Hollywood though. I swear I was told in the past it wasn't so I never looked any further. Sorry.

yes you are right I just double checked it and I meant Sunday the 17th lol....

If you are doing Flame Tree your fist day at AK you could do Pizzafari on the 16th. We ate there twice last time, really liked the breadsticks and you can get those as a snack.

You have 6 credits a day for TS 6 for CS and 6 for snack per night you stay= so for you that would be times 7
I am totally confused as well.
If we do the dining plan there are also 6 of us- 2 of the kids are "disney adults" though- over 9. So that's 4 adult plans and 2 kids plans.
It just seems like so much dessert? Lunch and dinner dessert? And a snack? Plus we may be staying concierge- so there's always food there.
I don't know if it's worth it for us.
I did price out a day and it did work out cheaper on the plan IF we all got desserts along the way- which we never get with lunch and often skip at dinner too. Plus we are more appetizer people - I wish it was still Appetizer and meal vs. Meal and dessert.
I don't know what to do yet.

You do have 7 TS. We are arriving 5/10 and leaving on 5/18 so we have 8 TS since it is every night you are there. We also are planning on doing a waterpark on 5/15. Not sure which on yet. We are doing another waterpark on 5/11, that Monday. I can't wait with less then 3 months to go. Now that we have our dining reservations done not much else to do but wait and think about packing...:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
