Hey everyone, I will need any advice at all. We will be camping at Bill frederick park, and going to universal for 3 days. I would like to hear from anyone that has camped at this park, and of course any and all helpful tips for first timers. We usually do Disney, but now have a full time college student so probably can't do that for a little while. So I leave myself in ya'lls capable hands. :wave2:

can't help you with the place you are staying at but can tell you to read some of the stickies and threads.

that will give you an idea of what to expect in the parks before you go.

are you going soon or this summer?

Well actually we are going the last week of May.

The very end of May can get pretty busy, so plan to hit the parks at or slightly before opening. Make sure to hit the attractions that get the most crowded first (Harry Potter, Minions, etc.). If you want to eat at Mythos, make a reservation early in the day. If you have a chance, visit the UO resorts, they are pretty spectacular.

Are you staying in a tent or in one of the cabins?

I've stayed in the cabins twice before. I don't know if they've stepped up their pest control since I was last there (it was 2006 I believe, so quite a while now), but I have never seen that many giant spiders in one place before.

Other than that, it's a nice park :)

We have a camper, so not really worried about those kind of pests. But, glad to hear it's a nice park

I agree. We have been at Disney same time of year, so I would imagine it to be about the same crowd levels. Harry Potter will be the absolute first thing we do. Would you say wait times are about equivilant to Disney wait times?

Close. Disney seemed a bit more crowded to us than UO. Definitely do Potter first, as that will get crazy quick.
