First time to SSR - it is awesome! Jan 18th

THis was our first trip to SSR (and WDW) after owning DVC for over a year.
This resort is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in Congress Park - 4th floor -great view overlooking Pleaure Island. I was extremely happy we chose this as our home resort and it exceeded our expectations. I dont know what capacity it was booked at the time but it seemed as if we had the whole place to ourselves.
The rooms are very elegant and we couldnt hear any outside the room noises. We didnt find the walks to any place overwhelming and it was great exercise for a middle aged couple like us. We even jogged around the perimeter a few times - so peaceful. We did both walkways to DD nightime and daytime - and felt very safe. We didn't wait for any bus to anywhere more than 10 minutes.

I would be happy to just stay there and not even go to the parks! So relaxing and quiet.

Looking forward to going back there for many many years.

I'm glad you had such a nice time! We stayed in CP on our only trip to SSR and we liked the location as well.

Glad you enjoyed SSR - we are going "home" for our 2nd trip to SSR in 1 week (taking the in-laws). We have requested Congress Park - DD view! Last year we had a great upper floor studio with a wonderful view of DD - we watched the fireworks at PI from our balcony every night! hoping to luck out again!

We were there Jan. 22-27 and loved it, too! We have reservations at BWV in June. I just hope we like it as much.

we are at SSR right now. we have a 2/bd in Congress Park with DD view from the fourth floor...,.what a fantastic view. everything has been great so far, will be here till Sun 2/11.

Hitting MK tomorrow with my parents who have never been.
