FIRST TIME TO DL- Some ??

It will be my first time travelling to DL, I'm from the EAst Coast (Allentown-ABE, NYC-JFK or Newark-EWR would be my airports of choice) and would like to know which would be the closest airport to DL. I don't drive, I usually get a towncar to do a R/T when I go to WDW and would like to do the same here. It will be me and my SIL (its my birthday gift to her, she's so wonderful). Can someone help me? I know I saw a thread on airports but now I can't find it and I would like to make our reservations and get our airfare. I've got reservations pending at Fairfield Inn by Marriott, any comments on that hotel would also be appreciated. I've also just asked for a quote from DreamRes on Paradise Pier. Thank you for any help you can provide.

The closet airport to DL is Orange COunty (SNA), about 12-15 miles. I stayed in the Fairfield Inn in 2001, it was a real easy walk to DL/DCA front doors. I had a room that over looked the parks, if you stood outside the door. I only slpet there, but it was clean, and the bathroom was spotless. The 2 parks are like a 10 minute walk apart, not like WDW. I don't know about town car cost, but just look at the messages on this board for the last 10 day, someone was asking that same ? and got some answers.

Have fun, if you need another SIL to take to WDW.............I'll volunteer!

JetBlue can get you into Long Beach from JFK non-stop. Probably save you some big bucks.

DW & I just returned from Disneyland. Flew into John Wayne(15 minute drive), used Shuttle Express, & stayed at PP. Great on all accounts. The shuttle driver was prompt & friendly. PP was comparable to the Swan at WDW. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

P.S. John Wayne/Orange County is the closest airport to DL.
