Just found out that I may be able to tag along on my fiance's business trip to California. We have never been to Disneyland before.

We will be staying at the Courtyard by Marriot right near the John Wayne Airport. This hotel does not have a shuttle to the Disneyland Resort area, and a taxi would cost $35. My fiance will be using the rental car for work.

I came up with an idea, but I am not sure if it will work. Since we are only a mile from the airport, I figured he could drop me off at the airport on his way to work. Then, I could take one of the airport shuttles to one of the Disneyland hotels and walk to the parks. I did a little research, and it looks like a one-way ride from the airport is around $11. Would this plan work, and if so, which shuttle service would you recommend. Thanks in advance.

We did basically the same thing one time. It did work, but we had reserved the van in advance. We used SuperShuttle.
Will your fiance be done in time to join you at DL, so you don't have to ride back to the airport? Just curious, because you can do a round-trip.

for a whole list of shuttles and phone numbers.

Good luck, and have fun!

I think this is a good plan. I agree about using Super Shuttle. There are lots of shuttles available, but I like Super Shuttle. I know they have better prices than some.
