First time to Calif Disneyland help please!

Lucille, that is an amazing thread! Thanks for the direction. Sounds like it is NOT worth staying at DL hotel? Not enough extra hours for our boys to use right? Is there a hotel you would recommend? We LOVED being on site at WDW for the extra hours .....

The DH is wonderful, and newly remodeled, but you will find everyone on this board has their favorite Good Neighbor Hotel- those within a short walking distance. Search the thread for hotels, and look at all the stickys on top. At this late date the hotels will be mostly full so you may to search a few to get the exact accommodations you want.

You'll see tons of discussion on the onsite/offsite debate. I'm sure there are a bunch of threads in this forum on that subject alone. We love staying on site, though our first few trips were off site. It is worth it to some, it isn't to others. For us we love the Disney bubble.

Check. The Anaheim Fairfield inn, I've also seen talk of Best Western Park Place in , HoJo, and the Park Vue Inn, these are all RIGHT across pretty much, HoJo is past the FFI though. There is a Mimi's, Denny's, Tony Roma's, on that same stretch, and a Mcd's. AVOID IHOp, it is severely overpriced. I've seen someone post about an $8 orange juice!
